You can use vibra tite or blue locktite all day long. If you used red locktite then that sucker is gonna be a permanent fixture. Heat gun and a good wrench will break it free though.

Man that does sound like a port issue. My 8.3” Triach was over gassed. Had to use the bleed function on the adjustable gas block. Mine is a .223 though. I wouldn’t think this would be an issue with 300blk unless something is out of spec.
