GI triggers do vary. I would recommend the stones anyway of you have a few AR's as its a good way to smooth out triggers until you can afford to swap out with a nice CMC single stage, Geissele 2-stage or Timney.
LOTS of GI triggers are gritty. The proper stones and patience will smooth the sear and trigger surfaces out though to make them WAY nicer.
The stones listed below last a pretty good while as long as you don't drop or abuse them...

I believe that the 6920 uses an AR15 profile carrier too vs the full weight M16 that PSA uses in their premium carbines. Could be wrong about the Colt, but remember noticing that looking at one a while back.
Resale is higher on the Colt(but it also costs more) but the better value is the PSA rifle.
