I’m not knocking anyone for carrying a .32 anything. I carry one often. I’ve long been an advocate of accuracy and reliability trumping caliber and capacity. I also don’t use the fictitious actions of a movie character to justify my carry caliber choices. :)
I bought two of the converted Beretta 84 mags. They both worked well the first outing. The second outing they jammed up so badly I had to disassemble the magazines to get the rounds out and clear the jams.
The internal dimensions of the magazine bodies are different and the cartridges don’t...
As I understand the design, there is an internal hammer and it is a single action trigger. It's similar in feel to a double action revolver although lighter (around 5.5 pounds) and shorter.
Nice review. I wanted one in 2014 and still want one. Looks like the prices went up a bit from the original 2014 price. I think I'm going to wait just a bit longer until I see some folks getting a few thousand rounds through them and see how well they hold up.
S&W J frames use a coil main spring while the larger frame revolvers use a flat main spring. Couple that with traditionally smaller grips and they become more difficult to manipulate a proper trigger press.
Apex sells a kit that comes highly recommended.
To be fair, the SP101 uses a coil...
