➽ Warehouse Supervisor/Manager (Shipping, Receiving, Inventory)

Hi Gents,

I'm working with a rapidly growing company (Scuf Gaming) in John's Creek in search of a warehouse Supervisor/Manager. There is some leeway at the moment depending on the skills and experience and salary expectations of qualified applicants. There's not a fleshed-out job description at this point but here are some of the desired traits, skills, and experience.

The ideal candidate has at minimum one year in a supervisory capacity after being promoted from "lead". This could be a great opportunity for someone that feels that they are ready to take on more, but opportunities in in their current company are limited.

This position will report directly to the interim COO and will have significant exposure within the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & TRAITS:

• DRIVEN - We're looking for someone HUNGRY for more responsibilities. This company has had amazing year-over-year growth and we are looking for bright, passionate, energetic, and talented leadership to energize and bring order to chaos
• RESPONSIBLE: You are responsible for the complete order fulfillment cycle from receiving, inventory management, staging and shipping.
• KNOWLEDGEABLE - You have a strong grasp of shipping, receiving, and inventory business processes and systems. You're as comfortable working in the inventory management system as you are ensuring your shipping and receiving processes are executed with precision.
• COACH: You have some experience guiding and training your team. You are familiar with how to give a performance review, hiring, scheduling employees and performing progressive discipline when necessary. You staff, , schedule, train, evaluate and develop team members to exceed customer expectations and departmental metrics.
• ORGANIZED: You run a tight ship and know exactly what needs to be done and when. Your shipping, receiving, and inventory locations are well organized and spotless after the shift. You ensure all equipment and the warehouse facility is in clean, neat, and proper working order, adhering to strict organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred. Would strongly prefer at least 2 years of college but will consider experience in lieu of a degree.
• Requires experience managing people/budgets/productivity
• 1+ years supervising warehouse/inventory staff preferred
• Familiarity with Warehouse and Inventory Management Systems
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in labor planning and personnel development
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Handle and resolve recurring problems
• Work independently
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Routinely bend, stretch, kneel, reach, push and pull
• Work in all weather conditions
• Spend the majority of the day standing and walking
• Set and meet own deadlines without supervision
• Handle stress in relation to high demands of the organization
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including 2nd shift and weekends as required.

Must be able to successfully pass both a background and drug test.
