Saw 2 bucks this morning. One about 65 yards and couldn't tell if it was QDM deer or not. Wasn't going to take a shot at that distance either way even if he was standing broadside to me. Other was smaller one slipping by. Cooler said most of the deer have been getting dropped off in the evenings. They said the biggest so far was a 153". Oh well, back down there tomorrow for an all-day hunt hopefully.
Saw a spike this morning and that was about it. Slower day in the woods here in N Ga
Actually, there are quite a few that live in the greenbelts around us. Momma was to the left across the street checking out something in the bushes. Fun times are when you see the bigger bucks cruising for does next month; after you have sat in the woods all day and not seen anything other than a squirrel.
