I was on stand for 10 minutes when I Called two bucks in with a doe bleat.
Bigger buck hung in the shadows while this guy came under my stand.
I hit the heart through the top of his shoulder.
He ran 100 yards down hill and piled up at creek bed.
No blood trail but I knew where he was from the giant crash he made.
Did not know if I hit him because no blood and no arrow.
Found him just like this.
Very rough drag 200 yards up hill with 100 yards straight up.
Took several brakes to catch me breath.
Should be some very good eatin'.
Did I mention I just love the Excalibur killing machine?

Yep yesterday the does I came up on were looking all around at every noise they heard.
This buck left his mark every ten feet when he came up to the knoll I was on.
Wasn't ten seconds after I bleated when I heard them coming like a steam train..... Those does yesterday were acting hot especially the big mama..... She even bleated herself while looking intently at the next ridge.

Get those doe bleats warmed up brothers and get in the woods while the getting is good.
My buddy's trigger hung up on his Thompson contender today and he missed a doe he tells me.

Congrats brother! I'm guessing you're about ready now to post up the Excalibur and move on to bigger and better things? I'm working this weekend which stinks, but I'll be hitting the woods hopefully tomorrow evening when I get off...............
