since you guys are all 10/22 fanatics- will a take down charger fit in the Magpul backpacker frame? thinking to SBR at least one of my 10/22's and thought that might be a cool setup. Takedown charger with threaded barrel in a backpacker takedown frame. or just start with a brownells takedown action and build the parts from there.

I have l been looking at these at Dicks for months. Finally went on sale but passed. Very nice.

I put one of the Magpul Backpacker stocks on my 10/22TD. It’s a pretty slick setup but I do wish it had a spot for a rail.

I like it for what it is. The storage in the stock is nice as is the hand guard storage. I can’t tell you if it’s worth the $90 I spent at this point but I fully intend to use it and try to get my money’s worth out of it.

I gave up a longer fore grip on the OEM setup and miss that but now have a self contained setup so there’s one trade off.

If compact storage wasn’t a concern I think I’d of gone with the X22 Hunter stock for the TD.

I did not know they raised up and had 10rd storage that is awesome and adds so many cool points. 22 Td build coming next. Thanks for the photos

That's pretty slick. Great compact set up for a car/backpack small game set up. Love it.
