10/22 Porn

Gonna throw my hat in the ring. Didn't see this thread until I posted, so here we go!

Gun is(was) a bone stock 10/22 with the plastic stock.

Stock, and all of the attachment accessories(The rail, the sight, the Barrel band, the cover, and the rear QD swivel), are SAMSON

Sling is Magpul. I taped it so it doesn't move. Was going for that "old school" canvas sling look.

Why the rubber: Originally, someone saw my little 10/22 and wanted to do some 3d Models of it, but he wanted it to look more "Post apolyptic". Not wanting to put tape on my gun directly, I had some skorg bands. Put em on, he liked em. I've found they actually aid in shooting by giving me better purchase, so they stayed.

Barrel Accessories: Here's where it's fun. I found a maker who makes slip on threads for 10/22s. Got one, found an old A2 Birdcage rolling around in a parts bin, and here we go. It probably would work with a suppressor, but I have no suppressors, and I'm not willing to thread a suppressor on it until it is evaluated by a more competent gunsmith than I.

Bayonet lug: I have a small 3d Printing company. I found the files online. And I Had to. The knife is some cheap 20ish dollar M9 Knife repro I got from amazon years ago. Mostly for looks.

Grip: SOF Rubber sleeve. It was made for the A2 style Ar-15/M16/M4 stock grips, but I threw it on there cause these grips are tiny. Tape is due to a rip in the rubber.

Optic: Vortex Crossfire.

I've shot this rifle a LOT, even before the facelift. I love these things.

Anyone have any experience with the SR-ISB? Looks like an interesting option for an integrally suppressed 10/22 and the price seems reasonable - MSRP is $629.

I have considered one many times but they are often OOS.. I hear good things but no personal experience. My gun shop owner at Gun Commanders loves his.

$629 for the barrel and integral suppressor is a good price iMHO. Most top tier 22lr cans these days are close to $500, so another $129 (retail) for an integral seems to be good. Plus who wouldn't want one that's 16" long with the can and no extra stamps (yes, you can go the TacSol SBX route as well)?? win win

and yes I've heard good things about them from people that own them but haven't actually shot one yet.
