This is at my parent's place. It's a great spot that has delivered some really nice bucks. It looks the same in every direction, 360 degrees!

Saw 5 this morning. All doe. 4 were all in a group around 9ish, then 10 min later I see another slipping through the thick(got a decent 8 on camera the past few days) so my heart rate jacks and it's just another doe. Set up a pop-up ground blind bout 4ish in an effort to hunt all this rain. Saw lil 5-point but that's it. Great to be in the wood tho!!!

I let a friend hunt my blind in the rain, and he saw my black-eared doe and her two fawns.

Still too darn hot for me. If we would've all listened to Al Gore and voted him president instead of Bush, we'd probably be enjoying cool weather right now...

Cooked chicken wings tonight so I didn't get back in the stand this afternoon.

Climbed up in the stand this afternoon sweating like crazy. Right as a couple came in the bottom fell out. Lightening started cranking. Enough with summer time!
