Couldn’t find any blood. Went back to where I shot him at and couldn’t find the arrow either. Saw another buck where I was sitting this morning at 11am. Watched him dig in the ground. Made a few bleat calls and had him in at 15 yards. Didn’t have a clear enough shot so I let him go. It’s rut season boys!! Pretty pissed I couldn’t find the buck. I didn’t even count his rack.

As I'm searching for this buck I get stung by a bee on my neck. This day sucks!!

Went to Dawson Forest this morning no deer moving where I was. Did have a wandering goober trotting around in front of me around 8:30.

Often a shoulder shot will not give you a blood trail and your arrow will be in him. It's a kill shot though. I'd still be looking.
