Often a shoulder shot will not give you a blood trail and your arrow will be in him. It's a kill shot though. I'd still be looking.

I’m pretty sure I shot him in his front shoulder. I looked for 3 hours. Never found him. Oh well, happens all the time to people. Guess I gotta forget about it and move on. One heck of a buck though....

A front shoulder shot is a death sentence. I dont imagine it made it more than a couple hundred yards. I'd keep looking if I was you.

Dumbass walking around in front of me. I would never think of walking around trying to jump a deer in an area that I know someone is hunting.

I looked 2 days for one I shot high once.Owe it to the deer to make every effort to find it.

It will be good at 840 tomorrow morning in this weather. If it wasn't a gut shot you dont have much to worry about.

Lost a deer one time went and got a friend and he walked right to it,I had passed it up twice.Good luck.
