10 gauge double barrel

I wish somebody would make an eight gauge side-by-side shotgun, and mass produced modern shells for it.
The shells don't have to be full power loads that would break your shoulder or knock your eyeballs out of their sockets-- you could reduce the charge to be similar to a 12 gauge 3.5 inch magnum shell used for hunting turkeys or geese.

I am just fascinated by the "cool factor"
of the huge bore diameter (.84")
of an 8 gauge gun.
Agreed. I just like the lesser known guns sometimes. I've got more AR's and Glocks than I can even remember, but stuff like this is really cool to me. I think a double barrel, 10 gauge coach gun would be awesome to have in the man cave.

Maybe a 10 ga cannon for the man cave: :boink:

Afternoon gents. I’m looking for a double barrel 10 gauge, honestly just wanting one for the novelty of it. Does anyone still currently make one? I don’t want a 1920’s antique, I’d like something I could shoot. I did my google searches and haven’t found anything.

You can shoot a 1920's antique. My luger is from 1917, model 10 from the interwar period, deer rifle from 1906. The constraint isnt the age but condition and then design. SxS guns can break along the stock fingers and wrist. The solder joint on the rib normally goes before the stock.
Coolest gun i've ever seen was a 10x10;45-70 drilling

Prices are all over the place with doubles but i prefer hammerless guns
