Just traded into a brand new bergara b14 hmr 308. Looking to hit steel at 1000yrds, anyone have any recommendations on a scope, rings and if I need a 20 moa base using 308? I know I need some sort of mil dot reticle, the
vortex hs-t seems to be a good choice and in my price range. View attachment 1520085

Vortex Viper HS series is a decent scope in that price range.

For a bipod, get the Harris BRMS (6”-9”, swiveling, with notched legs) and add a pod lock lever. I’ve seen a lot of bipods break under use. I’ve broken a couple of Harris bipods myself, but far less than I’ve seen failures from the cheaper models, and Harris stands behind their product.

Nope. Haven't seen one yet, either. Features look good for the price, and Nikon stands behind their products.
