10mm is pointless

Odd ball cartridges are a rich man's luxury. When it comes to commonly used defensive handgun cartridges, they all suck just about equally, and I don't want ANY of them if I can have a rifle.

I also agree with this, my pistol is to fight my way to my rifle and/or shotgun.

Reminds me a lot about the hype about the 40 nowadays. Some calibers just don't catch on. Maybe the 40 will be around long term, maybe it will go the way of the 10mm....

BTW- 9mm will outlast all of them. It will be manufactured long after we are all dead and gone. There are so many types of guns which use it. You never see 40S&W Uzis, HKs or other submachine guns..... 9mm still does the job. It has been around for 110 years, and it is still going strong. It will be manufactured long after we are all worm food.

Been a staple of Law Enforcement for 22 years. The military is buying more and more and putting it into service and most of Europe is out fitting it's Police with it. I'd say it has already caught on.

The 10mm is equal to the 41 mag as far as power, and just like the 41 mag expensive and at times hard to find ammo for. However both are fun to shoot. But i will stay with my 9mm

The 10mm is superior to the .45ACP because of higher magazine capacity of similar stopping power rounds. That is why the FBI helped develop it and used it in their service weapons... I'll take 15+ rounds in my G20 over however many a 1911 can pack any day...
