11/18 Hunt

I've not gotten anything yet this year... but I was able to stop by and look at my mount from last year. He's not quite done with it, but it's going to be awesome when I get it home to meet the rest of the family!

I let a monster get by me this morning. Having to watch 360 degrees,,,,He will be there and gone in a blink of a eye

Easy to do. Them big ones are sneaky.

My two biggest bucks gave me about 3 or 4 seconds to get a shot off...

My 8 year old son got his first and second deer today.

The rut hear is definitely over. We have bucks starting to hang out together again on our trail cams. They have also gone almost completely nocturnal.

Nah...There is.always a hot doe and a receptive buck, somewhere, from around Oct - Jan.

Seems like the biggest of the big bucks wait until after the peak before they decide to get up and cruise. Like a grandpa on Christmas morning. The kids get up early and run wild for a couple hours, before grandpa finally gets up. He's been there and done that. That's how it seems to me, anyway.
