Got back out here at 2pm. Wind is finally shifted. I have really high hopes for this new set I have. Lots of fresh tracks,scrapes and a huge rub since that rain last night

Hunted until 11:30 this morning and saw four does in addition to the big buck. Came back out at 3:30, and put my wife in the stand where I saw the buck. I am 500 yards up the power line, in case he crosses this evening. Still breezy here, but at least it's not raining.

When I'm deer hunting and I see a coyote, I'm coyote hunting.
