Anyone heading out today to the woods? Slept in this morning, might try to get an afternoon/evening hunt in since it is calling for rail tomorrow.

Not today back to the work week for me
I didn’t plan on going today but my wife had some plans and I decided to head out after getting kids off to school. Never too late to go
Well I had a nice 8 point show up around 10. He wouldn’t stop to save his life at any grunt or bleat. I was hunting with a 30-30 open sights and he never presented an ethical shot. If I had a dollar for every buck I wanted to shoot that was out of range or not a clean shot, I can think of atleast 10 really nice dollars I’d have 
Can't get back in the woods until tomorrow afternoon. It should be good after the rain moves through, and the temperature drops.
Took the wife hunting yesterday afternoon to do some doe management. We were in the stand 20 minutes when four came in, and she dropped this one in her tracks.

Nice doe but man that muzzle safety.
Chill out Fudd. Its unloaded and the picture is deceiving. Its pointing behind her because we are not idiots and gun safety is religiously followed in our house.
