Saw only two this morning...a doe and another deer that I couldn't make out. I'm about to head to the stand for the last time this week. May have to shoot a doe tonight so my wife knows I've been hunting and not shacking up with another woman.

I don’t hunt but sure enjoy reading about peoples hunts. You guys that sit all morning and see no deer reminds me of me bass fishing every Sunday morning all year. Go out and fish all morning and catch nothing. Sure was nice being out there though. Finally sold the bass boat and now just hire a striper guide for a morning once a year.

Moving early. Button head and a spike showed up. Still nothing to put in the freezer though 
Yowsers and this is the only hunt this week I haven't worn my snakebite boots.

Very true Phil. If it was about killing and not hunting and enjoying my time in the woods I would have already used up my tags this year. I'm very, very fortunate to be able to do this.
