Congrats to him. Is something wrong with the buck’s foot or just blood from shooting him?

Ole boy has been fighting recently.
Just blood where he piled up
Dang skeeters in November. The wife and I decided to hunt the creek this evening. We are about 500 yards apart. Dry as it has been, figured they needed some water and acorns.
Congratulations to those of you who got one! Good luck to the rest of you back at it for the evening.
Great buck congrats did you even think about using the pistol.i carried one a couple years and when it come down to the nut cutting I always used the rifle.
Had a big doe come in over my left shoulder at 4:40. She ate some acorns, drank some water, and walked on through the creek bottom. Hmm, just like I planned. Lol. 15 minutes later, here comes a nice 2.5 year old eight pointer on the same trail. I got turned and scoped him, but let him walk. He will be a stud if he makes it to next year. A little while later had four more does come from the same, but this time no buck. Oh well, back at it in the morning.
called in a forken horn, and had a doe come in at last light. The buck def was looking, the doe did not seem hot.
