Been a tough year. When you go in with the brown it's down thinking it always is a button. I'll own it though. I own everything I do. I'm disappointed but not sad. He's gonna be tasty.

It's all good. You didn't let the meat go to waste. That's all that matters

After ammo failure on big doe earlier that morning, I was ready to take any deer if another deer stepped out. Ended up taking a small doe, hated myself for few minutes...

But work had to get done quickly. I've been collecting tips on how to process a deer on my own from two members of ODT. It was time to use them.

The ribcage still had good bit of meat on it, took a cleaver and chop to fit in the pot and made SE Asian spicy noodle soup.
