Couple new commander- officer models. The Colt is factory bright stainless. The Dan Wesson is not but it is brand new. Me and my love of shiny things.

Thank You much! and yea the Colt won't be shot, but the DW may. I have a couple 1911's that get shot on a regular basis but honestly most of them will never be fired.
I got ahold of a used Baer at a solid price yesterday. I contacted LB with the serial number this morning and found out the original specs:
Model: Premier II
Year: 2009
Finish: Blued
Sights: Fixed rear / FO front
Cocking Serrations: Rear only
Thumb Safeties: Left only
Previous owner(s) had it Cerakoted, front sight swapped to tritium, rear sight swapped to a 10-8 fixed U-notch, and grips changed out to VZ ETC.
I did a full detail strip and clean last night. It was a little funky but cleaned up nicely. It's all numbers matching. Extractor tension is perfect. FCG doesn't appear to have ever been boogered up by a file. Lugs look great. Bushing is still bank vault tight. Came with (1) WC 47D mag. No box/docs/etc.
Aside from some fresh springs to establish a baseline, I don't think I'll do much aside from shoot the snot out of it. I thought about sending it off to Ford's Custom for a hard chrome spa day, but we'll see. I'll continue scuffing up the current Cerakote for now.
