Yup, forgot about the tax. It's the same price per round I paid total way back just before Covid hit for a 1k case, so I figured this would be worth to stock back up.

Just ordered a case. That's the best price on good 5.56 I've seen in years now. Although it sounds like it'll be a wait for the rebate check to show up.

I wish SG would re-open Ammo Empire so we could skip the tax, at least for a while. Although they do free shipping on everything ($200+) now, so I guess that evens out a bit.

Has anybody actually purchased 1000 rds to get the rebate? The reason I'm asking is the ad states maximun amount of $150.00 for 25% rebate. So I'm wondering if a person buys 1000 rds for $379 and change are they eligible for the rebate?

Yes, they are saying that if a person decided to buy 2k rounds for the rebate they will only fulfill $150 of the maximum allowable that will be rebated. So a order for 2k rounds won't be completely discounted under the rebate.

Correct. The rebate max's out at $150 per address.

They (SGA) do also have a 'rebate maximizer' line item for (I think) 1400 rounds, which gets you as close to the $150 as possible. But it is based on higher-cost ammo than the lot they got for this deal, so I don't think it comes out as good when you look at cost per round.

Yes, to be clear, you can only get a rebate on max of $600 in purchases to net you $150 (25%) in rebate. Even if you bought 3k rounds for $1100, you'd max out at $150 in rebate dollars.
