Spotted a stain under the reserve 01 Tahoe, turns out to be transmission fluid. I've never messed with an auto trans before, so could use some advice as to what needs to be done.

The boot (seal / shroud ?) on the rear extension has a a little fluid on it, and also the rear of the U/J. I've read there's a plug at the end of the end of the front of the driveshaft, before the UJ and a seal as part or the boot, are there any more seals that are amatuer replaceable I should get ?

Keep it full of fluid, put an old rug under it and drive it like you stole it 👍👍

Don't overfill, tho.

There is a relief hole in the center of the transmission shaft, and fluid will come out of it there, and will make you think you have a leak.
