I had just read through the regulations for rifles, but didn't find what i'm looking for. Does anyone know if I can hunt with a magazine with more than 5 rounds in it? I have a 10mm AR-15 that I want to try and use but don't know if its legal. Lowest magazine I can find for it is 18, the ones I have are over 30.

wow you missed that whole other vicious thread? No limit on magazine size of a rifle in GA - But please learn to shoot better if you need 5 rounds to get a deer.

I'm excited about deer hunting this year. I really hope to take one with a bow this year. Bagged 3 last year with my rifle.

Most folks don't read them anyhow. They just wait for the ranger to tell them what laws they broke. LOL

I usually frequent the Georgia classified section.

Personally, I would rather have a smaller magazine but i'm only limited to 2 styles. Just wanted to make sure it would be legit before taking it out. I think tops I would only keep 3-5 in the mag to keep weight down.
