Yep, Penix's average final performance made even the West Coast haters do the right thing. Reluctantly. Tightest margin in several years which is kind of ridiculous, but the right guy won.

It's definitely out of control.
But they're wrong. The player that doesn't get picked up can stay at their current school and they can also withdraw from the portal at any time. The portal has ruined college ball in a lot of ways unfortunately. It truly is now, just like pro teams.
