Congrats do y’all have many with beard rot,back when I hunted a lot for them it was pretty common in Macon county they would have 7-9 inch thick beard with 1.5 spurs and you know they were old birds.Entry #2:

They said it’s caused by mites about 1/2 what we killed would have it.our turkeys left,died ,or something around 15 and we just starting to get a few back.Thanks!
Back when I hunted in Macon Co, we didn’t encounter any with beard rot.
The club we were in was near in the Northern part of the county, off of Hwy 128.
