Well, 5 SEC teams in this week's national top ten rankings is what we call "a clue".

The cream always rises to the top.

I saw an article on ESPN a few days ago that stated Ohio State is the least-tested #1 team in college football history.

That got me thinking, and this is what I found.

Current Top 10 Teams Wins Vs. Current Top 25 Teams.:

2 Indiana #6 Oregon
3.Texas A&M #9 Notre Dame #17 Texas

The 5 SEC teams currently in the top 10 have 13 wins against top 25 teams.

The other 5 teams in the current top 10 have 4 top 25 wins combined.

I am certainly no fan of Alabama, as they have been a thorn in UGA's ass for years.

Consider that Notre Dame, has one ranked win (#15 USC), and is ranked over Alabama, with 4 ranked wins (#4 UGA, #14 Vandy #20 Tenn, #23 Mizzou)

Alabama's strength of schedule comes in at #4th toughest, and Notre Dame's comes in at #29.

Alabama's remaining strength of schedule is #36, and Notre Dame's is #91.

The rankings are puzzling at times.
