There are plenty of birds that can beat that one. Hope you find one of em’!
I am sure that hunt is burned into his memory forever. I haven’t heard that much gobbling in a long time. His bird probably gobbled 30 times, the other one over the hill from us just as many.
The bird I got on for myself later in the morning at my lease gobbled at least 20 or more times.

This guy's been hanging out at my house for a few days.
today he was walking around my car within 2 feet of my car and 5 feet from the garage. I walked right past him to go into the garage this morning.

I’m going to try a spot that hasn’t been hunted all season. It’s surrounded by some good tracts of land… hoping that the birds have been using this spot as refuge from pressure.
