2025 what have you done preparing for deer season

What do you use to do this? I have a manual pole saw but it takes a while to trim up a road and I always seem to find a yellow jackets nest when I'm doing it.

Disked the fields on Friday. Gonna wait for a decent chance of rain before I plant...looks like I'll be waiting a while.

Also set up a blind on a road I hunt and trimmed back the limbs on it.

It is so dry… going to push planting to next weekend I bushogged last weekend and it was so damn dusty……

Yea we holding off food plots we got them harrowed, just top sewing rye grass seeds in the shooting lanes hoping to catch the rain and have a little greenery for the doe pop.weekend.we will just kill them around feeders we don’t have any mature bucks at.the extended forecast says 40% next Friday.we had a good rain at my house in Macon yesterday not a drop in Macon county.

I put gas in my truck every monday morning and drive the back roads to work and back home.

Planted 4 fields totaling ~3.5 acres today. Hoping for some rain now....
