I stay out of the woods, they hold the same pattern year after year, and we are overloaded with deer and more have been added this year
no corn/bait, no food plot, all natural and the freezer will be full by Thanksgiving (5 deer for me and 3 or 4 for others that don't hunt)

Haha just saw this post.
Pretty much mirrors my exact mindset and back yard to be specific.
There must have been some busy bucks last year because we are absolutely over run with fawn this year.
They’re zipping all over the neighborhood and prettty much every doe I saw was pregnant or had dropped her fawns already.
I’m hoping to fill my freezer early this year.
I’ve had pretty good luck getting twofers with the Excalibur reloading in the tree for follow up shots on does that lingered around after I took one of the herd.
Almost got three two seasons ago but the third was a small buck and I let him walk.
I’m wondering if he’s one of the busy boys that has been knocking all the ladies up around here…haha.
Definitely getting excited for whatever happens this season.

Move a few cameras, cut limbs on shooting lanes, put out minerals a couple months back, fixed a couple built feeders, scouted a few spots, and sprayed roads. Gonna bushhog and build a platform for a blind to sit on in a couple weeks. So far only got a couple shooters on camera. Hopefully something else shows up once the season starts.

Also secured permission for a place that the guy wants me to use all my doe tags there, he has a few hundred acres in Morgan county and wants to thin his doe population out by removing at least 25 to 30.
