I don't think any one team should be in the series year after year like the Yankees. Even though LA I think had back to back wins this time.

I agree, but unfortunately, money talks, or perhaps "cash is king" would be a better phrase for this. The Yankees also managed to make it to the World Series because they could literally buy the best players.

The Dodgers got here partly because they managed to snag Shohei Ohtani, who is an absolute beast and given that this is (I believe) his first year with the Dodgers after signing that 9-figure behemoth of a contract, I would say he earned his keep and I'm certain a bonus that is worth more than anyone here could earn in 10 lifetimes.

I didn't watch the entire series either (just a couple clips), but I heard it was one of the best World Series' in modern baseball history; I mean, how often do we see a tie going into Game 7? Just incredible.

Didn't watch any at all, but looks like the Dodgers beat the rest of the world to keep the title in the U.S. ?

You think the Braves actually could have beaten the Dodgers in the World Series? The Dodgers had a 5-1 record against the Braves this season. It would have been a massacre.

I saw a few games - was pulling for the Blue Jays.

It was a good series....had one 18 inning game, some back and forth scoring and a bench clearing near brawl.

Thought Toronto was going to score and win it at the very end, only to see those hopes vanish in an instant.

Don't know about the tie. I did see the games on Roku MLB channel a day or two later. TV just wasn't picking up. Not surprised at that. It was a nail biter. Since I still play ball myself, it's fun to watch

The Blue Jays are a tough team to beat. At least in the Braves history. I'm glad we weren't playing them

I do feel bad for the Jays, it's been a while since they've been to the series. But there are clubs that have never been
