.22 conversion for an Ar/15

There are multiple conversion kits. You will have to let us know which one you have or are looking at. Cmmg is one I've heard nothing but good things about. I have one but haven't shot it yet because I have no 22lr rounds but the reviews are what sold.me on it.
Good luck

I have a Colt adapter and have not had any problems with it. These are VERY ammo sensitive regarding accuracy. If you get one, it will be trial and error to find out what it shoots the best.

I have a Brownell's kit, have had no major issues other than a couple lite strikes, which was maybe 3 in 500, but was using cheap ammo at the time.

Accuracy is indeed ammo sensitive, I found that plated hyper velocity ammo was more accurate. I also recall reading that you should run some .223/5.56 after a few hundred rounds of the .22 to blow out the gas tube (not sure if this is really necessary, but I do it anyway).
