22 LR prices

I shot today and BWG. They had CCI Standard Velocity in stock. Bought 4 boxes just to replace what I had shot. $3.99 a box. Had I not been on the range I got the impression they'd only sell you one box.

4.8 CENTS A ROUND is what they should run you when you buy them from big box stores, This is why mom and pops cant stay in bizz these days, I say if they cant sell them for what the big box stores are selling for then dont sell them at all. Now this is just 22 that I am talking about

I bought plenty for 4.8 a round from the BB stores just last week.

When yall quit buying them for 40 and 50 bucks a 500 it will starve out those flippers. I got the flippers and the stores figured out in coweta county and while I dont go in all the time with a big group of people I have been buying my share of three boxes every single time I go in the stores here latley.

But I should add I have been trying for a year to figure them out.

I am not a flipper and will not sell my hoard.

And it is hoarders like you creating the situation which is ripe for flippers in the first place.

Not that there is anything wrong with it, I am a hoarder myself, but don't get all mad at flippers for profiting in a situation people like yourself are creating. Flippers exist because of hoarders.

We have a brick down at the hunting place that says either $4.94 or $4.96 on the sticker. I think the last brick I got was $24. It would be nice to even see is on a shelf again.

I get as much excitement shooting a pellet gun as I do anything rimfire anyway...so unless I need to assassinate an unruly squirrel or something, I really don't plink much with .22. The couple of boxes of .22 I have had since the early 80s will probably last me through the drought even it lasts another 10-20 years. If not, I'll pop em with my 20 gauge.
