Springfield 120 Single Shot picked up monday. Cut barrel to 16.5 and crowned, sanded and stained stock,painted barrel black. Reflex going on it.

The first rifle my oldest daughter owned was a single shot .22 that I picked up for next to nothing (lean times) at a pawn shop and refinished the wood and metal. Ended up looking very nice and turned out to be very accurate. Lots of practice and her first kill ever was a squirrel at 45 yards off hand. Iron sights!
