22lr at Gander Mountain Newnan,GA

Gander had about 100 50rd boxes of 22lr. Here are some of the prices I saw:

CCI standard 4.99/50
CCI quiet 3.99/50
Federal 4.99/50
There were a couple of other brands; but don't remember info on them.

Not the best prices I have seen; but it was on the shelf with a limit of 6

I won't argue they are high. First time I have seen that many on the shelf and not behind the counter. Maybe things are starting to get better.

.22 is coming back I believe or I have been really lucky. I've picked up around 1700 rds last few weeks all from box stores. Academy, Cabelas, Dicks.

Gander Mountain in Opelika had plenty of the $4.99 CCI. Had a bunch of the Eley target ammo too but I think that was in the $9.99-19.99 range. No bricks.

Academy down the road in Auburn had plenty of 40 and 50 round boxes. No bricks.

But when I was in SC last month on vacation one pawn store probably had 30 sleeves of CCI Shorts for $8.50 and $8.99 per 100 depending on which kind you wanted. Needless to say I came home with several hundred rounds.

The Gander in Newnan has had it out on the shelves for a while . The higher prices make up for the fact that no customers are ever in the store.

Yea, but as least you can park up front and no one will ding your car.
