.22lr Pistol Opinions

An all steel MKIII is a little hefty, not light. I love mine though. The 22/45 is the model with the polymer frame. It has a grip angle similar to a 1911. most 1911 grips will fit on a 22/45 as well if it has replaceable panels. Go handle them both and pick the one that feels the best to you and you will be happy.

I like the sound of all metal honestly. A little hefty is kinda what Im looking for so... I gotta hold a few and then Ill make a final decision.

Thanks for the input guys!

I guess the 'non-slide action" puts a Beretta 87 out of the running, but I just have to post the one I finally found:

Either the Ruger MK series (Mk II, Mk III, 22/45) or Buck Marks would do fine. I think the Rugers are slightly more robust, but their triggers suck. I personally prefer the BM's due to their *great* factory triggers, and by the fact that it's much cheaper to swap barrels around without going through a FFL.

with those requirements all that i can think of is a ruger mark series, a browning buckmark, a beretta neos, or a sw22a
