I think its pretty amazing that there aren't more failures with pistols than there are. I mean dang, you have a small explosion going off in your hand and the only thing keeping your fingers attached to your hand is alittle metal and plastic. Good quality metals and plastics go a long way. I bet if the OP would list his sidearm of choice I bet you we could find pics of that particular weapon failing....

True and ouch. But something tells me that was a hot load or a pop and no kick. I am a fan of the beretta 92 and the 1911. So bring on the pics of failures.
