🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 no my wife doesn't know yetDid you already step out of the closet …?
People forget bullet placement has a lot to do with. We could talk day all reference rifle calibers. (It come down to person behind the gun)I keep both. .308 is good abundant common and powerful, .270 has been around since 1923 to 1925 and still killing deer, Jack O'Connor hunt with it for years with it. For garden variety caliber I keep both. Plenty rounds of those in my closet. They will do the job when the time comes
Whichever he wants. So which one should he buy?
Agreed. A couple years back a co-worker (at the time) had transitioned to .270 from 30-06. He came to me and exclaimed that he had 2 deer run off after being shot with the .270. He had been hunting with a 180gr. -06 bullet for 30+ years. Wellll he took the same old shoulder shot he always did (for 30+ years) with the ballistic tip .270 and it blew up in the shoulder and they took off. It is always about shot placement.
