3" 686 .357 holster. Which one?

The Fobus is rather......fragile. The holster itself is 2 pieces of plastic, held together with rivets.

I was teaching a weapons retention class to some folks a few years ago. I was using a student as a demo and he had a Fobus holster. I grabbed his pistol and gave it a twist using 25-40% strength/speed. Several rivets popped, the holster "opened" like a clamshell, and the gun was in my hand. I was surprised, to say the least. I did not know that was going to happen and it was not my intention to destroy a student's rig. Luckily, I was able to loan him a holster for the remainder of the class and he returned the Fobus for a refund.

Bianchi and Galco both make some excellent "assembly line" holsters for great prices. I've owned several of both over the years with no issues.

Rusty Sherrick, FIST, and del Fatti have some excellent revolver holster designs as well. I'll probably order a del Fatti for my custom Charter Arms Bulldog .44Spl, whenever I get that thing done.
