3 lug on a 45?

Is it even possible to mount a 3 lug adapter to a 45 barrel?

Anyone? I saw a 3 lug adapter in 5/8x24 and hoped it would have enough ID since I've seen a 45 threaded in that pattern.

I've never seen one.

That 5/8 adapter was probably so you could run your 3 lug 9mm can on a 300blk. 45 is normally .578-28 tpi.

I saw a different 45 caliber done in 5/8x24, While I assume the 58 adapter is for 300blk, I wonder if the internal diameter is enough for a 45 to pass through.

Biggest thing I need to know is the internal diameter of something like this.

I can't say I've even seen a tri-lug on a .45. HK doesn't use them on the UMP at all.

Looking at this picture I'm going to guess no. Looks too small to me.

I wonder how thin it would get when bored out to fit the 45?
