So I found a good deal on a CMMG pistol lower and decided to build a 300 Blackout pistol. Looked around for some complete uppers, but couldn’t find anything I could afford or that met my specs.
Visited True Prep and talked with David about what I wanted and,he fixed me up with a great kit and really worked with me on my budget. Lots of technical knowledge shared as well which put me at ease with building it myself. I had built a stripped lower before, but this was my first attempt at an upper build.
I’m happy with how it came out. Still need to find a brace of some kind, (thinking KAK shockwave) and get dies, brass, and bullets for reloading. Not planning on subsonic since I don’t have a 30 cal can yet.
10.5” Ballistic Advantage barrel, Midwest Ind. 12” rail, KAK flash can, Anderson stripped upper, Aero lopro gas block, etc.
