327 gun & ammo

No experience with any of the new offerings in .327 but, you can also shoot .32 Magnum, .32 Long and .32 short through it. I'm thinking for the money that .32 Long would be the cheapest to plink with and it is an exceptionally accurate cartridge. I don't have any data how it would run through any of the .327 chambered revolvers available but I shoot it through a .32 Magnum I have and it is extremely consistent. I hope this helps.

I've shot one of the taurus revolvers in .327 including a couple cylinders in a few loaded with .32 H&R magnum and one cylinder with .32 longs. Honestly, comparing it to a .357 sub nose in a comparable sized package I don't find it to be an advantage unless you are extremely recoil sensitive. Even a 6 shot sub nosed in .357 isn;t much larger and .38 is cheaper and more readily available where I am at, .327 is nonexistence. For plinking .38 wad cutters in a .357 are very accurate and fun to shoot. My advice, unless you are recoil sensitive and absolutely need a one more shot, and less recoil, I would go with a .357, that and the fact selling a .327 when and if you want to is going to be difficult. I have a friend thinking about selling his and he may be able to get half of what he may have in it since no one is really in the market, not with slim pocket 9mms and .357s loaded with .38s.

Have a ruger sp101, i love this gun twice the knockdown of a 38 sp. With 20% less recoil, or so they say ( guns and ammo review) i have had no problem finding ammo (ammo to go). Not something wally world will carry. Speer, federal, american eagle. Plus the other calibers you can also shoot in it.we sell 2 or 3 a month at the store i work at. Plus you have 6 round in the smaller guns .the ruger gp 100 holds 7 rds, and the blackhawk holds 8.speer gould dots 20 rd. Box 24.99, about the same as any other self defense round.

I had one in the Tuarus, like the round just not the gun. I didn't want to spend the kind of money that Smith & Ruger was wanting. Recoil was almost non existant

I had this thread closed. it bugs me the more I think about it any feedback would be appreciated . looking for wife for pd , small hands does'nt like '' BOOM'' even considerd black widow 22 mag but the price diff does'nt justify the down size in cal. dont want 380 and 9m
