right on the 357 max I have a contender chambered in that. also a lot of single shot newengland arms had been rechambered to that caliber I have read don't know that for sure. look up t c contender 357 max fore more info.

I had one of these. Got it as a "reward" for my paper route. The ammo was hard to find. If was slightly more accurate than throwing rocks. The velocity was so low you could see the bullet.

A great idea that resurfaces every so often, supposedly a hot idea with the military at this moment, but no one has ever been able to make it work.

Oh yeah, you had to worry about the bullet breaking off from the charge.
