"Mouse gun" Meaning a tinny little gun that hurts your manly sized hands when you shoot it. You can have a mouse gun in .357 ,.45lc etc. It's not the caliber or what your trying to do with it, it's the size of the gun relative to your hand. I carry two,a Diamondback .380 and a S&W 360PD .357,both very small guns.The smith was painfully to shoot with the tiny grips so I had to put bigger grips to make shooting it tollerable. My larger revolvers and semi auto pistols I shoot for fun,mouse guns I only shoot for necessity (practice,function test).Mouse guns are the least fun to shoot for me.
