We have 4 egg layers at our house. They are 1yr 3 months old. We need them gone because we are renting and need the septic dug up in the backyard. In woodstock

Free to a good home. Or as pet food for a predator, or they make a tasty chicken stock.

Oh yeah. I had 7 a few weeks ago. Now we have a lot of chicken stock. Just dont need more and meats not good for grilling.

Definitely not good on the grill if they're that old, but you can make some good shredded chicken BBQ in the Crockpot with them.

If they're laying good though, I'd let them live so they could supply me with fresh eggs for breakfast.

We had 4 breeds. I dont even know whats left. We had wyandottes, cuckoo marans, auracana, and wellsummer.
