44 mag homebrew shotshell recipe

For those of you that may be interested...
I primed several 44 mag cases and used 6.5 grains of Red dot (you can also use unique)

then using a piece of a bud light 12 pack container, a spent 44 case, tack hammer and piece of wood I cut out the wads.

I placed a wad over the powder using a 38spl case to press it in place.

I then filled the case with 12 shot leaving enough room for another wad to be just inside the opening of the case mouth.

Finished them off with a drop of elmers glue spread on the wad.
At 10 feet it destroyed a beer can. Can't wait to try it out on old Jake No Shoulder

I've done similar in 357 mag cases. Also, I use #9 shot, which can be easily extracted from a $5 box of shells at Walmart.
#9 works really well.

Works great..now throw 1 00 buck shot pellet in there with shot and give it a whirl. You will be amazed how accurate it is.
