Apparently for alligators "dog" is what's for dinner. This gator had a total of 5 dog tags in his stomach.

Kind of strange that in 24 years the tags never passed through the alligator. Sort of makes the Jurassic Park scene with the phone in the dino poo not plausible. lol

24 years ago.... that thing was big enough to consume a hunting dog. Shows they don't get much bigger than that. A 12' gator is no joke.... and OLD.

I just read where alligators have the strongest stomach acid of any animal on the planet. Kind of hard to imagine a little thin plate of aluminum survived 24 years.
