Getting up there in power. Working up to my deer load for next season.
Loading a 300gr Penn 0.459" LRNFP over 50 gr of IMR 4198 in WW brass with a WLR primer and a Lee Factory Crimp. Shot it over the chrony for around 2150 fps and 3080 ft/lb energy. Best group of the day was a 4" at 100 yards. I've lost some accuracy since I passed the 45 gr mark. This load will tear up some hard back books (my redneckish test for terminal effect)
