.45 Colt rifle shooting 225g. Winchester silvertip one shot at 130yd. Deer droped in her tracks and a complete pass through. Almost every deer I ever shot with a .357 I had to shoot twice. Made a firm believer out of me...............

You are one lucky gentleman, that is just plain pure .45 ACP awesomeness! Our soldiers put those to good work in the Pacific jungles during WWII. Do you have a drum and fiddle case if not forgetta bout it.

Men have been killing for a long time now and when the handgun was developed, many different sized calibers were tried but around the late 1800's/early 1900's they stopped at .45. I guess they figured they were done.

No drum YET... lol! I will get one though. On my short list of things to get. I don't have the fiddle case, don't intend on getting one either. Mine is just basically for WW2 reenacting and living history. I rarely shoot it.

Forced induction. And you can get more power with same displacement with more cylinders
Like having 5.0L v8 vs 5.0L v12
But we are not talking about cars.
9mm with right loading is plenty ammo to get job done
