5 coyotes down with thermal

love seeing people using the 6.8. nice shooting and you should post more vids like this

Thanks and I'll try! Ya I'm a 6.8 fanboy. It was either that or the 6.5 Grendel but I don't reload and there aren't enough factory ammo options for 6.5. And since the 6.8 was optimized for 12-18 inch barrels that's what I went with.

Anyone know a good place to buy a thermal IR scope for less than $1k?
That Reap-IR starts at $2k.

lol I wish the Reap was $2k!! I'd have at least 2 of them! Lowest advertised price allowed last year was $7500. There is only 1 model Reap-IR btw, they only come in the 2.5x 35mm lens 60 hz configuration. It was made by IR Defense who were bought out by Trijicon less than a year ago. This year, Trijicon has increased the price on them actually. If you find a good dealer they might give u a better deal privately for less than $7500, but there's nowhere anyone can get a new Reap-IR for anywhere close to $2000, but that would be awesome!

Decent Entry level thermal shooting scopes are starting around $2500.
Decent Entry level thermal scanning monoculars start about $2k.
U can get some decent digital night vision scopes starting about $400. Pulsar is supposed to be releasing a pretty good digital new nv scope for $700-$800 this summer that has impressive light gathering capabilities.
